• Routine deworming beginning at 2 weeks and repeated as recommended

• One-year health guarantee covering genetic conditions that both parents are cleared for through Embark and Wisdom Panel testing

🏠 Early Training, Socialization & Ongoing Support

 

We begin early development training from the start to ensure our puppies grow into calm, confident, and well-mannered companions.

Our process includes:

• Early crate training for comfort and transition ease

• Potty training using the pine-pellet and potty-pad method

• Desensitization to household sounds, textures, and smells to build confidence

• Age-appropriate handling and supervised play for healthy social development

 

We strongly encourage all new owners to continue socialization early — safely introducing your puppy to new people, animals, and environments. Proper socialization helps prevent fear-based behaviors and ensures your Cane Corso matures into a stable, confident adult.

If you’re local to us in Southeastern Kentucky, I also offer dog-sitting services for our puppy families when my schedule allows.

• Rate: $50 per day (24 hours)

• Your dog must be appropriately socialized, up to date on all vaccinations, and on flea and tick prevention

 

This trusted service allows your dog to stay with someone familiar with their background, easing stress and maintaining consistency while you’re away.

Some of our puppy prices already include the ear cropping procedure performed by a licensed veterinarian.

• Be sure to ask about your specific puppy’s pricing to confirm whether cropping is included.

• If you would like to opt out of ear cropping, please contact me as soon as possible — I do offer a discount for buyers choosing to keep their puppy’s natural ears.

• For cropped puppies, I personally handle the post-surgical care, pain management, and suture removal to ensure proper healing and comfort.

Continuing Our Method at Home

​

Your puppy has already started potty training using our tray method with potty pads and pine pellets. This system is clean, natural, and sets the foundation for fast outdoor potty training later.

Our Setup at Home

​

Your puppy has been raised in a playpen with a crate attached, giving them freedom to sleep, play, and use the designated potty area. They:

• Sleep in their crate by choice

• Keep their sleeping space clean

• Walk out to potty in the playpen tray lined with pine pellets over a puppy pad

This setup reinforces their natural instinct to keep their crate clean.

Why Pine Pellets?

​

• Naturally absorb moisture and odor

• Mimics outdoor textures (grass/dirt) for easier transition

• Eco-friendly and low mess

• Easy cleanup — scoop out soiled pellets and replace as needed

 

We use a puppy pad underneath the pellets to catch liquids and simplify cleanup.

Continuing at Home

​

1. Create a small space (like a playpen).

2. Place the crate on one side, the potty tray on the other.

3. Keep the crate door open during the day.

4. Praise immediately when your puppy uses the tray.

5. Keep the area clean — puppies prefer fresh, dry surfaces.

6. Gradually move the tray closer to the door, then outside, as your puppy matures.

 

Tips for Success

• Take your puppy to the tray after waking, eating, and play.

• Stick to a consistent schedule.

• Reward success with treats or praise.

• Never scold for accidents — redirect calmly and clean with an enzymatic cleaner.

 

🌡️ Keeping Your Puppy Warm & Comfortable

 

Your puppy is used to sleeping on a heating pad or nestled against their littermates. It’s normal for them to miss that warmth during their first few nights at home.

To help with the transition:

• Use a pet-safe, temperature-controlled heating mat or pad under half of the crate (so your puppy can move off it if they get too warm).

• Always place a blanket or crate liner between the mat and crate floor — never allow direct contact.

• Keep the room around 70–75°F the first week.

• Avoid standard electric blankets or non-pet heat sources — they can overheat.
